Laura
at MYND.
Registered Nurse and Independent Prescriber. ADHD and autism assessment for adults and children.
Laura is a Registered Nurse and an Independent Prescriber, based in Guernsey.
She founded The ADHD Portal, a private assessment service working across the Channel Islands, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
She assesses ADHD and autism, in adults and in children.
Women and girls are diagnosed later and less often than men and boys. The bias is well documented. Laura built her practice around closing that gap.

An assessment is a long conversation about your own life. It is thorough, and it is not rushed.
Assessment is open to everyone. Any age, any gender. Nobody is turned away on those grounds.
As an Independent Prescriber, Laura can prescribe where that is appropriate, then set up and manage a Shared Care Agreement with your GP. You are not handed on to start again somewhere else.
She also runs an aesthetics practice and a training academy for other practitioners. That work sits separately from her assessment work.
Every treatment offered here has a reason behind it, and a place in a wider view of the whole person.
At MYND, mental, physical and emotional health are treated as one connected system. Holistic and medicinal approaches sit alongside each other, not in opposition, IV therapy next to Reiki, clinical assessment next to talking therapy, acupuncture next to psychology.
