Most people who arrive here have already spent years being passed between people. A GP, a waiting list, a website, a leaflet, a form. Somewhere in that chain, everyone assumes someone else is holding the thread. Usually nobody is. This is where the thread gets picked up.

One job, done properly.
Only Skiin Deep exists to get a person from thinking something might be wrong to holding a diagnosis and a plan they understand. That is the whole remit. It is deliberately narrow, because a service that helps everyone with everything helps nobody in particular.

- 02You find out what your options are, privately and through other available routes, with the real waiting times.
- 03If money is the obstacle, that is discussed openly rather than politely ignored.
- 04You leave with a written plan, in plain language, that you keep.
- 05Someone checks back in. You are not handed a document and forgotten.

- 03Parents who have run out of ideas and cannot face another form.
- 04People whose grief, work or finances have quietly become the same problem.
Those last four things are not separate categories. They arrive together, in the same person, in the same week. That is why they are handled by the same service.
What this is not.
Only Skiin Deep is not yet a registered charity. It is a giving programme, funded directly by the businesses behind MYND, and it will be registered properly when there is enough moving through it to justify a board.
It is not a treatment service. Nobody here diagnoses, prescribes or treats. The work is navigation, and it stops where clinical care begins.
It is not a route into MYND. Some people will end up here. Many will find what they need elsewhere, and that is a good outcome.
Paid for by the businesses, not by the people using it.
A fixed share of profit from Oskiino, AI Had A Dream and MYND AT ONE funds this work. It costs nothing to the person using it. There is no means test, no application form and no need to explain why you deserve help before you receive it.
Not everyone is looking to be fixed. Some people are looking for a door.
Three things we will not do.
- 01We will never take or pay a referral fee, in either direction.
- 02We will always be free to send you somewhere that is not MYND, and we will say so plainly.
- 03We will publish how many people we helped, and how many of them ended up with us rather than elsewhere.
